Feeling lazy again?
In one of these days I banged my head against the wall and thought of the laziest cake ever known to man.
If you are in a committed relationship with dark chocolate this is the one for you. I`m not much of a chocolate eater but this does not mean that we don`t have deep relations. And to be on the clear I have eaten whole two pieces from this ludicrous creation. So may be I`m converting….
You will need:
250 gr. digestive or whole wheat cookies
80 gr. soft butter
1/2 cup of sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa powder
3 large eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
125 gr. dark chocolate something like 80% chopped
If you have a food processor whizz the cookies until fine crumble if not, put them in a plastic bag and bash them good with a rolling-pin. There you have an exercise, cooking and anger management training.
In a big bowl mix the cookie crumble with the baking powder, sugar, cocoa powder add the butter and the eggs and stir well.
Line a spring form with baking paper and spread the cookie dough on it as evenly as possible. Sprinkle the chopped chocolate on the top and push it in to even.
Toss in a pre heated oven 160 C. for 30 minutes.
And you are ready to roll, cake in 35 minutes with some cupboard ingredients. Lazy and totally convenient for a real chocoholic.
And last but not least-PLEASE do not give this cake to children under the age of 10 or you will treat yourself with some unwanted hyperactivity at home. Or you will need to enroll them in some fight sports class to lose the energy. You decide.
This is it from me and my lazy mood.
Cheers and keep the good food coming!
