Feel good hot pot


It is hot it is cold, the weather is undefined and so I decided to make a heartwarming dish. A cross between a hot pot and a soup.

Soup I know, it is new for me.

Actually you can make a soup as a main dish if you want to eat light or if you are cold. The last time we had soup dinners I was ill and my husband made some  kick ass soups. 

To be completely honest I obviously undermine soups, but I will try to change.

OK.To the recipe we go.

You will need:

2 sausages sliced

250 gr. cabbage cut into chunks

200 gr. frozen peas

3 carrots sliced

1 onion chopped

parsley chopped

some oil

salt and pepper, fennel seeds

In a pot put some oil and toss the chopped onion in it. Sweat it for a minute then add carrots, sausage and the rest of the ingredients. Stir well.

Pour over 1 l. boiling water add the herbs and close the lid. Let it bubble for 20 minutes.Stir occasionally.


And this is really it.Some complicated shit.

You can of course put some smoked sausage or bacon or no meat at all, the choice is yours.

I’m really trying to get in an Autumn mood, but I take it everyone misses the long evenings like me.

Whenever you get it a shitty mood go to the kitchen and make your self a soul food.


It takes only 30 min.
