I have been experiencing so many emotions these days.
Do not want to complicate your lives, guys. So I’ll not elaborate.
Today is the 16th of May #FRD2014, meaning Food Revolution Day by the Jamie Oliver’s Food foundation. And this year I decided I’ll take part.
We are all people, and to remain as such but healthier and happier we need the proper ‘fuel’- meaning food.
For me Food Revolution Day is a day to realize no matter how many pairs of expensive shoes you possess, no matter how fast and shiny your car is, no matter how many world trips you have taken, no matter you do not have any girlfriend or husband YOU cannot treat your body like a dumpster.
Your body is your home.
You cannot fix yourself if you make the things look OK from the outside and in the very same time to eat like a careless, ignorant person. Maybe this is why the hospitals are full with people who do not belong there, originally.
Sorry that I’m so harsh.
Main idea of love-cook-food.com is to show you people who are ready to wake up, that cooking does not need to be time-consuming, does not need to be expensive and does not need to be really complicated.
That is why I’m backing fully my overseas friend Jamie Oliver in his attempts to create a sense of food awareness in people.
Lovely people, you are what you eat. Know it.
You will need:
2/3 cups milk
3 small shredded apples or 2 bigger ones
100 gr. melted butter or at room temperature at least
5 tbsp. cocoa powder
1 pack bourbon vanilla sugar
2/3 cups of sugar
1 cup of flour, whole wheat or a regular one
1 tsp. baking powder
Dear all, take two big mixing bowls mix the wet ingredients together in one of them and in the other one mix the dry ones.
Corporate both, stir a little, it does need to look perfect, well mixed is perfectly fine by me.
Preheat your oven to 160 C.
Put your muffin mix in your muffin pan.
Bake 20 minutes.
And you are golden!!!
This is like five minutes of effort meal but it will give you the most gratitude and personal satisfaction.
In summary 25 minutes of your precious time to put something together that probably someone will never forget.
Go fight against processed food and treat your body as your temple.
Cheers to you all lovely people.
