This recipe is the second part from the celebration edition, but I thought I will go in another direction.Sorry mother.
As I was looking at the cake trying to think of a name it was obvious black on top of white. Suddenly I thought of my mom, she is the best but she was raised in quite closed and `racist`environment.
Of course quite natural where are you going to see a black guy during the Communism, not even on Tv.
Hence the name.
The cake by itself has not an interracial purpose. Plain old coconut and chocolate cake.
If you want to be more Benetton you will need.
For the black part.
100 gr. grated or chopped in very small dark chocolate
50 gr. butter room temperature
100 gr. oats
For the white part.
100 gr. butter room temperature
1 cup of sugar
1 can of coconut milk 314 ml.
2 cups of flour
100 gr. coconut flakes
2 tbsp. baking powder
So first a short story, if one buys cheap, buys more often. And stupid me including.
During the years I have bought something like five or six spring forms, all landed in the trash… Maybe some of these days I`ll come to my senses and buy a decent one. If you are more clever than me you can use yours in this case.
Preheat the oven 170 C.
Line with baking paper your spring form. In a small bowl mix in a paste the ingredients for the black part. Spread the paste evenly on the bottom of the form and toss in the oven for 10 minutes.
During this time we will make the white part.
In a bigger bowl whisk the eggs with the sugar and butter until fluffy. Add the coconut milk, flour, baking powder and the flakes.
You can do this easily by hand or if you are lazy use electricity.
Take the brown bottom out of the oven and pour the white part over. Return in the oven and bake for another 30-35 minutes.
When ready leave it cool and then flip it over.
