Veggie pattie


First of all not every day you have the right ingredients to cook a proper meal or at least not for the one you have in mind.


Second of all I think you must have some basic stuff at home and you can do the cooking every day. With a few minutes of creative thinking or browsing on the internet, and searching for the quickest easiest way you can put something eatable and healthy on the table in no time.


Today we are having veggie patties .

It is almost summer and everybody I know wants to get their bikini body back on form, before the actual  beach day comes.



So I offer you a quick fix.


You will need:


150 gr. oats

1 can boiled beans /about 350 gr./

1 big red onion finely chopped

3 grated carrots

1 handful mushrooms fresh or canned finely chopped

5, 6 wild garlic leaves or 2 spring garlic finely chopped

1 egg

salt, pepper, marjoram



In a bowl mix all the ingredients well together until you have like ‘minced meat` consistency .


Preheat your oven on 200 C and if you have it put the grill function on.


Lay a big baking tray or the rack from your oven with baking paper.

Form with a spoon middle sized patties and put them on the rack, brush the tops with some vegetable oil and toss them in the oven.



They will be ready in 15 minutes tops, but if I`m you I`ll be watching closely, because they burn pretty quickly .

If you insist you can turn them over on halftime, but it is not necessary.


And this is it, serve with some salad and you are good to go, easy as pie.
